Saturday, Elena Ribakina defeated Tunisia's Onsjebur 3-6, 6-2, 6-2.

This was the first Grand Slam title of Ribakina's career. The match between the two players lasted for one hour and 48 minutes.

Third seed Onsjebure Jahan defeated Tatjana Maria 6-2, 3-6, 6-1 in the semi-finals to reach the final.

17th seeded Elena Elena Ribakina defeated 2019 champion Simona Halep 6-3, 6-3 in the semi-finals and booked the final ticket.

By reaching the final, Onsjebur became the first Tunisian, first Arab and first African woman to reach a Grand Slam final in the Open Era.
